MEET CHARLENE MURPHY
Hello, and welcome! I’m Charlene Murphy, an interfaith minister ordained through the Universal Life Church and a wedding officiant based in beautiful Ashland, Oregon. I have the pleasure of helping couples celebrate their love and commitment throughout Southern Oregon.
I believe that love is one of life’s greatest adventures, and choosing to share your life with another person is something worth celebrating! Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement beneath the redwoods, a romantic vineyard wedding, or a traditional ceremony surrounded by family and friends, I’d be delighted to be part of your special day.
My Approach to Wedding Ceremonies
One of my favorite parts of officiating weddings is getting to know the couples I marry. I love hearing how you met, what brought you together, and what makes your relationship special. Every couple has a story, and I believe your wedding ceremony should reflect yours.
My approach is warm, relaxed, and personal. I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and free to be yourselves. Your ceremony doesn’t need to be overly formal or complicated to be beautiful. Sometimes the simplest words and most heartfelt moments are the ones we remember forever.
As an interfaith minister, I welcome couples of all backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions. Whether you envision a religious, spiritual, secular, or non-religious ceremony, I’m happy to help create an experience that honors your values and feels authentic to you.

Living in Ashland, I’m fortunate to be surrounded by some of the most beautiful wedding settings in the Pacific Northwest. From the vineyards and gardens of the Rogue Valley to the forests, mountains, and scenic landscapes of Southern Oregon, there are endless possibilities for creating a memorable celebration.
Above all, I believe your wedding day should be a joyful occasion, filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments. My role is to help you begin this next chapter with a ceremony you’ll remember fondly for years to come.
